Hi, I'm Carley—a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and toddler mom passionate about helping little ones find their voice through play.
I created Tiny Talkers because I know how overwhelming it can feel when you're worried about your child's communication. Whether your toddler isn't talking yet, you're wondering what milestones to expect, or you're simply looking for ways to encourage more language at home, my goal is to give you practical, evidence-based strategies that fit naturally into your everyday routines.
My approach is simple: communication grows through connection. I believe some of the best learning happens during play, mealtime, bath time, story time, and all of the little moments in between. That's why you'll find realistic tips, toy recommendations, language strategies, and parent education designed to help you feel confident supporting your child's communication.

Why Early Intervention Matters
The first three years of life are when the brain is developing communication skills at an incredible rate. During this time, children learn language naturally through everyday interactions, play, and routines.
When language delays are identified early, therapy can help children build the foundational skills they need before communication challenges begin to affect learning, behavior, and social relationships.
While some children simply need extra time, others have underlying language disorders that do not resolve on their own. Without intervention, these persistent language disorders can continue into preschool and school age, making it more difficult to:
The good news is that early intervention is associated with better outcomes. The earlier children receive support, the more opportunities they have to develop strong communication skills during this critical period of brain development.
An evaluation can provide clarity, reassurance, and, if needed, a plan to help your child communicate with confidence.
